I had no end of problems with my Missile Command in the first 18 months that I had it. Possibly explained by the poor state of the edge connector, most notably a big chunk missing off the end of the connector, and loose and dirty pins:
I bit the bullet and replaced the whole thing:
The cab has been rock solid ever since. Not a difficult job, but it's a good few hours of pretty tedious work. I'd recommend it though.
