I have a Site 4 boardset that will turn on and play but will not take any input. I bought the board on here several months ago "working" so I am wondering if it my setup or not. When the game is turned on it will not respond to the start buttons. If I put the game in service mode it will not respond to guns or joystick controls unless the jamma harness is pushed on just right. I am thinking the problem is my power supply. I know the dedicated machine has a pretty beefy supply and mine is a cheap 100w or less switcher. Would this be where I should start or would it be something else entirely?

unless the jamma harness is pushed on just right.

3 things just on the top of my head..

Clean the edge connector. If it still acts the same replace the Harness. While this might not cure your problem, Having a jamma harness that works when you push it in just right will just add more to your problems.

Check the voltages on the board. Your 5 volts might be too Low. This will affect the game.

Your Input section of your board might be blown. You Might need to repair them.

Every other game I have used in that cabinet works and has no problems so I am not thinking it's the harness. According to the leds on the board the 5v is good. I do need to check the voltages with a meter for sure. Im wondering if it getting the voltage but not enough amps. I think only two or three of the 5v wires are actually connected.

Reading the voltage while someone is playing the game will tell you if you have a current issue.
If the meter dips low. It's might be a weak powersupply and that board just need more current.
