I have a Maximum Force and have been on the look out for a combo board to swap in.

Seen one on a FB group listed with other parts and no price with no pics of working or anything (or claims) and the seller "claimed" it was a $400 boardset "all day long"
Said he sold stuff here.

Went on to say working area 51 @$250
And working Maximjm Force @ $250 but combo at $400. I've seen tones of area 51/Maximum force cabs listed for $500 working and nobody is buying them
Was dude on point or blowing smoke?

I mentioned politely asking here and seems he blocked me so maybe that's my answer ...

I'm always open to learning

I bought an A51/Max Force Duo from another member of the forum about 18 months ago for $225. $400 is high, IMO.

Sold two about 9 months ago, took six weeks to sell both at $240 a piece

350-400 high side is what I said. Ive personally sold 2 before this for 350 2 years ago. OP offered $50 and proceeded to chest thump on pricing......so yeah....I said 350-400 and laughed at his $50 offer and blocked him because he was just wasting my time going back and forth on who knows what more.

I had my listings marked as Make offer and was taking serious offers.....OP came right out saying $50. Thats a low ball right out of the gate. I told him No and that it was a $400 boardset (after shipping and insurance all in as its a heavy $$ board to ship with metal plate and HDD) and told him its 350-400 and area 51 or maximum force are 250 all day. Now, he couldve made me an offer of 275-300 and Id probably have taken it. But coming back saying i didnt post pics of it working and that good luck with it at my asking (facebook only allows 10 photos and I have over 50 items for sale) and proceeded to get snarky and chest beating on where I get my info from (thinking I was doing ebay pricing). Sure theres tons of people selling board sets from 200-300 here.....theres also them selling for 100....OF COURSE I would be asking the top dollar theyve sold for and that I have personally sold them for. Then thats where negotiations start, but $50 is a no go like I told him. Boards have sold this year on here for 350 and on facebook for 345-375.....why wouldnt I want/try to get around that? $50 is a shin kick regardless.

I actually have one to sell, the older 2 board style running both games, on the metal plate. I kind of don't want to sell it with the metal plate because shipping that would obviously be ridiculous.

so it's socially acceptable to sell in the $300-350 range?

Untested and you had no price listed. I am selling a MK board right now for $30... Have sold others for $40 etc....tested working makes a difference .....no intent to insult.

I just don't see "$400 all day long"
$250 at 6 weeks as Mecha stated TESTED WORKING, ok.
Ebay has some crazy pricing and we all know that. I just sold alotta boards in the $50-$150 range and I'm telling you the $250--400 boardsets I don't see flying off the shelves. I don't think prices are what you think respectfully.

You can buy working games for $500 , whole games like area maximum forces watched listed for monthes working and no sale.

No intent to insult that how negotiation works. Also how we let the market decide the value of something. Sure every once in a blue moon you go fishing and catch a whale. Wish you the best in you $400 area 51/ Maximum force board set. Post it here let's see what it does?

More or less what I was asking.

Social experiment- post it and see if you sell it for that "all day long" I'm betting that it doesn't based on what I've seen. If I'm wrong I'm wrong though and my ego has no pro lem being wrong. The market decides.

Sounds about right.

I just reread this and see you answered your own question you proposed.

You are trying to get top dollar- I started low but like you were saying "boards sell here for $100 sure"....you are after high retail.
I am trying to get the $100 board

So you start there, I start there and we meet in the middle , wasn't snarky at all I think you misread that. I have seen NONE sell on klov for $400 for that title and I am always looking for cheap boards. You want high retail.

No problem but I'll eat my hat if your claim they sell all day long for $400 is true. If so why hasn't it sold ? Again no offense. It's an honest question. I'm fine with agreeing to disagree, I even said GLWS of you $400 board. I meant that genuinely believe it or not. People are so use to people being pricks nowadays that automatically assume the worst.

Just sold it for $400......magician lord $100 combo deal. Thanks Klov for sending me a customer. Sold at 15 hours since posting.....last 4 I've sold that fast or faster at that price. So I want pictures of you enjoying that hat Mr "why hasn't it sold".

350-400 all day dude is what i said, not 400 only. $50 is a low ball regardless. You asked if it was working and I said yes and you said $50.....kick dirt man. Didn't ask for video, photos or anymore questions, just asked if working and I replied and then low balled.
