I am going to bet thats a neotec nt2515c. I have one that does the same thing, and they came stock in the cab. At the time I had a spare WG k7000 that I just tossed in it, so I havnt gotten back to rebuilding that one. I tossed a cap kit and flyback in it as a blind attempt with no dice. I will probably end up going over the vertical circuit part by part eventually...

do you have another game you can back this up to and swap video wires??

It would be nice to verify you have a monitor issue and not a boardset issue.

Also, take several pics of the monitor chassis(the circuit board for the monitor) and lets see if we can get you a little more help.

Your target areas are..

Hey thanks for the reply great... i have a lethal enforcers cab that works that's the only jamma i have to back up. here are some pictures of the chassis..

Unplug the chassis and remove it, remember where your

chassis grounds go each wire should be back where it was.

Next, option one is solder the vertical ic for the lines in picture.

Option two forget about option one, replace the vertical ic

for best results it looks discolored may have been over heated.

which is in the picture top right hand side of chassis mounted to the

Black heat sink with heatsink compound, keep what you can

and reuse the compound grease it is not dryed up yet and can be reused

wipe what you can from the old ic, on to the new Ic.

you need to replace the pump up cap c59 too...

they work together and need to replace them

as a pair, when the chip gets replaced..

all the caps in the vertical circuit may not be needed.

If you would like to do a cap kit then go for it..it will help to restore the chassis

and there are some caps in the PS that are needed at this age for this chassis.

I dont know of a cap kit for the chassis I stock all the caps, never looked for a kit.

Another look at location is the flyback inspect it for any holes they too

are a issue with this chassis just a inspection, also look at the

the resistors behind the vertical Ic for any discolored resistor

just another visual inspection, as PM or Preventive Maitenance.

Another tip is in a case like this remove the signal cable you still

should see these video issues, without the game hooked to it.

Good Luck!

wow thanks

Thats a lot of great info thanks a lot, i dont understand it all but its somewhere for me to start.. last night i swaped my lethal pcb into the area 51 and I got the same picture problems on the screen so Im pretty sure its all monitor and has nothing to do with the board (which is good and bad) Wie-ya cap kits are on bobs site and twistedquarter.com.

I put the area 51 pcb in my lethal enforcers cab and it played fine.. definitely a monitor issue
