Hi, I got a FREE lot of 3 pinball machines. High Speed, Flash, and Target Alpha (EM). I had them for about 3 weeks and have sold the Flash and Target Alpha but kept the High Speed. It's awesome.

I am a real do it yourselfer, and can manufacture about anything, so I am going to restore the HS. The backglass is perfect - 100%. The playfield will get a re-inking as I already have artwork for it, and I will repaint the cabinet.

So far, I've ordered parts, and only resoldered the boards. Next comes repainting the cabinet as the playfield re-do is scheduled for early 2010 from GreatPinball.com

Just wanted to say hi.

Hello camperjohn. Awesome score with the pins! Do you have other games as well, or just the HS for now?

Welcome to KLOV! Nice to see another SoCal collector. I'm up in the Inland Empire, so if you are ever up this way let me know if you'd like to stop bye.

How did you score a the 3 pins for free???

Hola!

Hola from Northern Cali...

Good "score" on the pins...HS is a fun one so it would be cool to see pics once you finish restoring it!! Post them here if you get time..

Welcome to the forums!

I also have a Robotron. I thought I would play the robotron all the time, but the HS just kept turning itself on and drawing me in. I tried to resist..really I did.

I was out looking for a pool table, and this guy had one for $500. I only wanted to pay $250 for a pool table (slate, 7'). I am cheap and admit it.

So off the cuff, he said "How about I throw in these 3 pinball machines". I was like "Hell yeah", but I didn't show it. My girlfriend said "Are you sure it's worth it?" and I tried to shut her up.

2 truckloads later I had my pool table, and 3 pinball machines. I had a party, then sold the 2 machines. They were in need of a little TLC, and the HS needed new soldering to make it perfect.

It does need some work though. New cabinet knocker, and 1 new 7 digit display, and a match/ball display. Those will be the expensive parts. The other parts just require time and elbowgrease.

Last week I was in Vegas, and I can't believe I didn't know there was a pinball museum there!!! I had time to kill too when my girlfriend was at a job interview!!! We must go back.

Wow, wish 3 pins had of came with my pool table. Then again I got the table for free so I cant complain. Sounds like you got a free pool table and pin if you sold the pins for what they are worth. Great deal!

Welcome and nice score! I kept trying to figure out what part of San Diego but the outside pics are too dark. I'm in San Marcos. Is that a putting green in your back yard???
