Thats my HANDS ON experience with them. They produce a fine picture when screen conditions are normal though.

Yes, I'm well aware of the fact that arcades still flourish in China and Japan and so on...
That doesnt change the fact that parts made for MY industry (the coin operated arcade industry) that are made in China fail at a rate of 10/20 to 1 compared to their US/German/Japan/Canadian counter parts of 20 years ago.
Whats so hard to understand about that?

Thats because American/German/Japanese/Canadian parts are no longer made.
Were stuck using Chinese goods and they fail way too quickly. If I had another choice I would go there but I dont.
Do we even need to start discussing import tariffs? They are just now being rolled down. They were 100% on a lot of items, including cars. Can't imagine why someone in China would buy a Chinese monitor for half the price or less vs. a possibly superior non-Chinese version.
Buick sold more cars in China (over 2 million) than it did in the US with import tariffs in place. That tells you all you need to know about Chinese cars.

I never said chinese products are the best in the world,but they arent crap as many of you say,they work mostly fine and they cost less,so you can do your job ok,you can try yourself and if it doesnt work for you,then go and search for other country's products,its normal.But most people in the world are happy with chinese products,thats a fact that you cant deny
if you can find a wells garden monitor thats the best,if you cant,china is your friend and will serve you good

I've already said that I have 25+ years in the coin-op industry. Over the last 10 years most (if not all) of the parts used in my industry have come from China. They have all failed at an alarming rate. You name the part, its failed.
I dont see how that "so called" when I'm coming from hands on experience.

I don't know if I agree with you. Saying that the entire country of 1.4Billion people only makes crap, is probably a racist comment. However, I do think is a very fair and useful to say that the products that *I* have bought from China suck and hence I don't want you to share my pain.
I'm pissed off that this conversation wasn't country-wide 10-20 years ago and more people would be willing to PAY for quality. Then, we wouldn't have lost these and so many other manufacturing jobs overseas.
Clearly our free market system has voted with our dollars for CHEAP.

Kind of confused here... how is he being racist if he's saying he's dissatisfied with the quality of Chinese goods and he wishes he could buy Japanese, Taiwanese, or Korean instead? Disliking how business is done in a specific society isn't anywhere near the same thing as being racist.

If he has, then ok, I suppose he can make such a generalized statement like, "everything that comes out of china is crap". I am absolutely amazed that I'm the only one that can see this. I must have logged into the bizarro forums today...
Its not racist the same way saying American cars are crap isn't racist. I don't happen to agree with it, but if you go on a Toyota or Honda forum you'll see plenty of it.

You're the only one who sees it because you're reading between the lines to do so. He's saying "Chinese factories have very poor quality control," and it seems like you're hearing "the Chinese are lazy and don't take pride in their work." There's a big, big difference there.
