I have a battlezone cabaret I picked up from a semi-local guy. I've been working on it, it's coming along. But the front marquee (below the control panel) is broken and missing some of the marquee.

so I put a want to buy ad up in the WTB section and a klover sells me one for a fair price and ships it quickly.

problem is, when I get it (today) it is waaaaaaaayyyyyyy too big. the damn marquee is wider than my cab. Or exactly as wide as my cab to be exact. The current marquee is about 4" narrower than the cab.

what gives?

anyone have a measurement on at upright marquee so I can compare it to this? or on their personal cabaret width?

so I went to measure mine for reference.

My current marquee is about 16 1/4" wide x 4 1/2" tall

the one I just received is: 19 1/4" wide x 6 1/2" tall

The marquee from the periscope measures: 19 1/4" wide x 6 1/2" (might have been 6 1/4", I measured quickly) tall. Measurements taken from the inside of the periscope.

It has 6 screw holes: one on each end and two on the top and two bottom.

thanks, guess I got a periscope marquee instead of a cabaret marquee.

The periscope version is also rectangular. I am going to guess the Battlezone cabaret version (if it is like Missile Command and Centipede cabarets) has rounded corners.

can someone with a cabaret give me a measurement of their marquee.

Also, if anyone knows if there is possibly 2 (or more) different sized/shaped battlezone cabaret games I would appreciate the information.

Make sure that there may be variances in the marquee sizes if Atari made the BZ cabarets from their Ireland facility vs. the US counterpart. The give away would be in the frame holding up the coin door. US cabs will have the carriage bolts visible on the outside of the frame where the other will have the clamps holding the coin door on visible only from the backside of the frame.
