Hi does anyone know the best way to get Track & Field, Hyper Sports and the other Konami sports games on one board for a Track & Field Multi Game? If not which board would you recommend that allows you to build a Favorite list to only menu up the sports games.

I'm a stern konami guy and I totally think there should be an fpga multi konami. Both a vertical and a horizontal. Or one that can do both on a 25 inch.

If all you want is track and field and hypersports in one cab someone made a switcher for that awhile back. This would let you have both boards in the machine and switch back and forth.

Don't have them in hand on the site for sale yet, however, the vector labs switcher does have konami adapters to attach to the jamma selector.

I went through the list on that pandoras box 4 and didnt find them. I did find them on an old 139 in 1 board which of course isnt around anymore.

Konami 80's Arcade Gallery is an official PCB from Konami, running on the big System 573 monster hardware (based on the PlayStation). Pretty sure it's a Japan exclusive release. I own a few of these, they ran nine of Konami's vertical games, as well as Yie Ar Kung Fu reprogrammed for a vertical monitor. It was also released for the PlayStation in the US as Konami Arcade Classics.

Unfortunately, none of the Konami sports games are on it. Sorry. :\

I want one that does all the 4 player games. X-men, TMNT, TIT, Simpsons, GI Joe, ECT. Not sure why someone hasn't made one yet there is a lot of money to be made. Especially since the vast majority of these games keep going up and up in price.

You can find them, with 2 player support only. ;)

MAME fills this demand well, so I don't think much interest is there to make it.

I'd like to see an XXXin1 light gun PCB. But I'm not holding my breath.

Yeah I will be going the mame route for it but it would be nice just to have a PCB that connects to a JAMMA harness and saves me all the BS work.:D

I agree and think that a "plug and play" option regarding 4-player simultaneous games would be huge and be a major addition to the ArpiCade. I "think" it is possible now with a Ipac 2/4 with the ArpiCade, but not sure that has been confirmed by anyone. If the 4 player option could be added to the ArpiCade somehow and eliminate the need for additional programming of an Ipac 2 or 4 board - that would be ideal. MAME PC is possible, but not nearly as handy and convenient as the ArpiCade would be - add a specific front end for all the 4 player games in conjunction with all the other games would be an awesome feature in my book for ArpiCade and in essence serve as a Konami multi-board is the user chooses.
Add USB gun support for games such as Vs. Duckhunt, etc. and you would really have something!

I was planning to go with the ArPiCade for my Track & Field restore providing a multiboard wasnt found before they came back in stock. (and keep the original board wrapped up in the bottom of the cab.) At the risk of getting creamed here I saw a totally bitchin use of the pie-mame boards on these hybrid bartops. Check these out. Here is the link to the forbidden zone please dont flame me. Qbert and Tempest take the cake for me!

They are interesting but also seem useless. Your still basically using the same amount of space a regular game takes up there just not as deep. Plus you have all that open space under them you cant really do anything with.
