yeah I think it will be pretty cool. there is a demo on ps3. the graphics are nice. I'm planning on making a 2p control panel for it. I already have a 2p sf4 panel that I use in a painted over MK2 cab (I didn't paint it over) I'll probably try to find/make a marquee and might get some side art printed if I find something interesting enough.
My idea right now is to take 2 tops off of the fight stick they are releasing and somehow fit that into a wood piece i can swap in like I do with the 2 sf4 sticks, but i'm not 100% sure about it at the moment. at least these sticks are a lot cheaper than the sf4 ones were. they are selling an edition with the fight stick for $150, so that's just $90 for the stick if you count the game as $60.
I don't think this game will live up to MK2/UMK3 for me though, there's just something about those games. I have not played any of the MKs between umk3 and the new one.
I'm also not sure how the classic layout is going to work, the game makes use of all 4 trigger buttons on the ps3 controller, and the 4 standard buttons for punches and kicks. no run button so that can be used for something

Buddy played it at PAX, said it was awesome, reptiles acid spit actually melts you, there's damage effects now and he said it ran super smooth and was done very well. he played the arcade version like i taught him well (he's a pc/console guy).
