I'm not singling anyone out specifically, but any of you feel the constant bumps on FS posts are getting ridiculous and downright obnoxious?

I can understand maybe a couple bumps, one for the evening/day for when you posted in the opposite timeframe and maybe one for the weekday/weekend whe you posted in the opposite dayframe.

But people that bump theirs every single day, or worse, bump it every 6-8 hours is crazy. Even worse, they post messages like "bump this needs to go" (for like their 10th time), yet don't lower their prices. Do they really think the only reason it's not selling is because someone didn't see it and they need to bump it? WAKE UP! It didn't sell because either no one wanted it or your price was too high.

Note: Not bumping, but posting a new FS post (with 99.99999% the same items) is the same as bumping, you're just as guilty.

Maybe with all the new guidelines that are being implemented on the forums they can come up with some on bumping your own FS posts.

Unless it's a part/game I'm dying to get, I might have to go to a personal "don't buy from a multiple bumper" mode of operation.

Okay, rant off for now...

Read the forum rules for the Fore Sale section. It says maximum is one bump per day and that you should have all of your stuff in a single thread. Updates can occur more frequently that causes a bump are allow for updates to items that the status changed, etc... What you will see is that the rules look very reasonable, but that they are just not being followed. If someone is shamelessly ignoring the rules, let the forum admin know.

doesn't bother me in the least.

It makes it hard to see the recent posts by people who don't bump a bunch. Every daily bump for a 48-in-1 thread pushes the good deals and unique stuff down into the noise. Yes, I can search for everything I want, but I will never know I want some of the stuff until I see it. ;) (like tempest to major havoc boards)

Seriously though, like we don't know who to PM for a 48-in-1 already?

:D

i try to bump every couple of days,i like to start new fresh post though after 3 or 4 pages

:)
and yes i'll go back to the fs forum(lol)now Phet:)

Bumping is okay I guess (coinup) so long as it's not too crazy (coinup). I mean it's not like (coinup) they're trying to slip (coinup) submininal messages or (coinup) anything.

:D
