or accurate readings, i should say.

i have a rechargable 9v battery, and i noticed that after swapping out a power supply in my satan's hollow, the meter reads starts to read 5.5 and just keeps going up where on the +5 when with the regular 9v battery it reads 5.05. is that weird?

Indeed, some models will give inaccurate readings if rechargeable batteries are installed in them.

Why would you bother anyway? I hate using my rechargeables in stuff that takes a LONG time to eat up a battery, I wind up forgetting where they are and need the batteries(or rather want them) for something else, and go buy more that I didn't need.

Stick to a regular battery, unless you leave the thing turned on when it's not in use, a battery should last you a VERY long time.
