Well if the piece on the cabaret style cabinet weren't so big I would have said you could send them to me and I would cut them for you. If you can't the bit near you, they sell freud ones by me, but they cost 2.5 times more than the bottom bearing version.

They are awesome for cutting control panel plexi:

Sweet. I still need to fab 3 of those plexi cp overlays exactly like your DK cabaret. 3 button holes, one joystick hole, rounded corners, and 8 small bolt holes around the edges. Then I am gonna have Rich reverse print the CPO graphic and have it stuck to the underside of the plexi, then bolt the whole thing down to the blank CP's you cut for me.

You can't go wrong with a top bearing bit. just drill the holes in the new piece, and bolt the old and new piece together and then you can cut the plexi super easily. Do you have an original to duplicate?

Nope, I was just gonna use your blank CP's as a guide.

Side Art - First Revision

I want to make the hammer pop out, and touch up a mark on DK's chin. I am open to comments on what I should change:

Maybe have a little less negative space where the sky is on the upper right and enlarge the characters, and have the hammer "out" of the border like you said, and perhaps Kong's foot.

I'd also make the DONKEY KONG text larger (but not stretched vertically), or perhaps make the oval the text is in larger to fit larger text.

All great suggestions I didn't want to change the oval size, I need to look at junior and dk3 as well as other Nintendo side art to see how they did it with longer game titles.

After looking a DK Jr, DK 3, and Popeye I see that Nintendo wasn't very consistent with their side art.

I am done, but I decided to make one version with the '94 popping out of the top. I like the other one better. I moved the TM, adjusted the size of the '94 and a bunch of minor tweaks that you can't see on a 800px wide image.

I thought I might like this better, but I don't.

The popped out '94 just looks weird now (covering part of Donkey, and the background in the 9). Top version of the two is better IMO

Move it to the right off center to use up the empty space and to make it look more interesting.

Agreed. The black stroke around 94 needs to be increased to match the stroke around the words.

Like this? I wanted to use an apostrophe, because I love it in Galaga '88, but if it ruins the artwork then I guess I will have to go without.

Much better, but move the 94 up a 1/4 - 1/2 inch. Have it slightly overlap the bottom of Donkey Kong. Get it so that the negative star in the 9 has a solid green background. You may have to move the DK up slightly. Also, move the TM down and to the right of the upper part of the G.
