nah. i had a centipede cocktail in pretty decent condition but then i lost my job so i was sitting there looking at it every day angry i didnt have the money to fix it, even with all the time in the world. i put an ad on cragslist and got this nice classic upright atari cab in exchange for it. i wanted both, but i decided one working project was better than one broken one. i also thought it was a better choice than mameing a complete and almost working classic. i already had the control panel built for the mame, so once i got a cab it literally cost me nothing. all the rest of the stuff i needed i cobbled together from junk i have laying around. ive worked on vintage electronics for years, mostly in the music realm but mame is pretty simple and none of the wiring is really difficult. thats my story for the time being, but hopefully i'll be working again soon and can start stuffing this house full of classics! right now i'm happy to be here to learn and pick on people when i get drunk.
