Anyone else have trouble ordering stuff from Arcadeshop.com? The only information I can fnd on their webiste is a 1-800 number and all I get is an answering service. I've left a message, but don't get a call back....

that's how it sounds, like an answering service, then it rings over to them.. unless they aren't answering the ring through.

Arcadeshop has always treated me nice and their southern accents are soothing!

Yup, order and pay by phone. They are usually responsive and I've never had issues in the past. Maybe they are backed up due to the holidays?

I tried an email and a phone call a few weeks ago and no response yet here either. I figured they were on break... Then I just ordered what I needed from Bob Roberts and got my parts cheaper and in 3 days. Bob Roberts FTW!

Bob Roberts does rock! I recommend him all the time. Never a bad word in all my years.

Bob does not sell the CPO's and some other stuff Arcadeshop.com does...

They have been a little unresponsive, took 2 emails and 3 phone calls to get my order placed last order... but got what I needed.

I sent an email with the list, and asked them to call me. Got an email to give them a call... having the email list makes things clear, so all I needed to do was pay.

I have only ordered from them twice, as I usually order from Bob. But I needed a Moon Patrol and Joust CPO and trim, etc...

At least they shipped both orders promptly after payment. These were about 2 years apart. The last order was in November of last year.

Yeah you always have to call with them. Royal pain in the ass.
You wont know what the shipping is until they bill your card either. Watch out for the bezels! They run 100+ after the shipping charges.

Holy Cow! I had no idea about that. Whew, glad he was out of stock when I tried to order one last summer. I would have been unimpressed.

Although i like their products, I quit ordering from them due to the complications of their phone/I'll get back to you by email procedures. It was just easier to deal with some of the other sites, even Bob Roberts is easier. :)

What was the price of the particular bezel you purchased? I've never felt overcharged for shipping.

I've never understood why Steven Gregory doesn't post here, work with KLOV, etc like the other repro guys do. I've always had great dealings with Arcadeshop, but have had to call a few times to get through sometimes.

I have had dozens of transactions with Arcadeshop and everyone has been a flawless. They ship right away and shipping cost is what it would be if you took it to UPS yourself. Highly recommend them.

I agree! They is good, I just wish they had a real website!

It was a glass bezel, about 60 plus 40 for shipping. It may have been a bigger order with two separate boxes. I never felt overcharged, its just nice to know all the costs ahead of time.

I have ordered toms of stuff from them, but its still a pain having to call. I go with anyone else first if I can.

Their CPOs are usually the ones that start to crack after a year or two as well. I have never had any of TOG's crack yet.

Funny how picking up the phone to place an order has become a royal pain in the ass :) Really?

Arcadeshop is a great resource for the hobby, so is Bob (sending a check is way more of a pain in the ass actually), and countless other vendors and sources..

I still remember when there wasn't easy access to reproduction art and electronic components that most people have never heard of.. We've got it pretty good these days.. Support them!
