Just a reminder... the Arcadeshop Multigame board hasn't been updated since January despite the fact the owner of Arcadeshop has quoted a June and July time frame for updates (but him quoting arbitrary release dates is par for the course). But of course Clay is in charge according to Steve and Steves in charge according to Clay.

All I know is as a legitimate arcadeshop multigame owner (2 of them mind you), I continue to be unimpressed with arcadeshops after-the-sale customer service on this product.

Boo...

Sad....

Can't we all just get along?

Frizz, have you ever considered selling the board to be done with it and buying a Jrok instead? Just sayin ...... heh

I have two and they're both running vertical games. I also have a JROK board in my Multi Williams...

Plus there is no way in hell I'd recoup the almost $800 I have invested in these two boards. I have an idea though... perhaps Steve could support his product? Whoa... there's an idea! Perhaps someone should give him a heads-up?!

Frizzle, the anguish you would obviously save by giving thes things away would be worth the $800 alone. ;) By the way, I've "made my money back" on almost nothing in the 15 years I've collected...

Wasn't Clay supposed to buy those boards from you? What ever happened with that?

He promised fixes... changes... and he actually delivered on SOME of them (DK walk sound for example).

The rest of the changes are as MIA as his new Star Wars/ESB kit with the additional samples he came in here tried to pimp just as Mark was releasing his last batch of SW/ESB boards (oh the timing...).

All I gotta say is where is the Q*bert that he said was in the next update.
He said that 2 1/2 years ago.

Why don't all of you board owners rally and bombard Steven with emails?

Power in numbers right?

But then again - in all fairness I have a 60-1 that I wish they'd improve and I haven't done anything about itlol

I do have a bit of an obsessive-compulsive question about Donkey Kong on the arcadeshop board. I notice that while the rest of the colors in DK and the colors in all the other games I have loaded on there seem to be close to the originals, the color of the DK girders is more orange (like Krazy Kong) than the purple it is in the original.

It shouldn't, but it just drives me nuts. Is this just me, or has anyone else noticed this? I emailed Steve, who had been very helpful about several other issues, but he did not respond to this question.

Conversation Reminder:

Frizz:
That would be $768.90... I'll eat the shipping. Where do I send the boards? Do you want to send me a check or paypal?

Clay:
As long as I don't have to read any more complaining from you about it-- done deal! Shoot me an email with your name and contact info and I'll do the same. I'll send you a cashier's check. Please put "arcadeshop" as the subject line of the email so I can find it in my inbox. (this is my 1000 spam an hour address: (edit), so the sooner the beter!)

Frizz:
Email on it's way. I also purchased the DKII ROM that I don't own, but rather lease as I don't have access to download it whenever I want, but rather only when the software is upgraded... but I can't blame you for that mess, so I guess I will eat the $40.00 for the DKII ROMS...

...and you won't hear another peep about your boards from me...

You had your chance, but you chose to keep them. I think we all know where you stand. Can't you give it a rest already? :D:D:D

I have compared mine to an original DK machine many times and mine shows the correct color, a purple or magenta I would say, not orange at all. Are you maybe using an old update? I did see a graphic error once (in Super Zaxxon) that went away after I "re-loaded" the roms, maybe try that.
