Hello All,
Pinball Pete and the gang over at Hot Rods Used Furniture and Arcades in Greenville, SC are auctioning off about 60+ machines this week. They are using an online auction house to handle the auction. I've posted the link below to the info on the auction and the pics, but if anyone needs some additional pics of the machines, let me know and I'll try to get some for you. They are just trying to make some space and clear out their older inventory, so hopefully someone will get a good deal. All auctions are starting at $10.

+1 for talking if anyone's going to this, would love to pick up that Dance Freaks, but a 2 hour time window for pickup doesn't leave me any chance at it.

A few of these games were pick ups from the auction a couple months ago. I recognize quite a few. I also visited the "showroom" afterwards that day and do not see any of those listed. Most of those were a B to B+ just FYI.

Hey Guys!
I'll probably be going by there sometime tomorrow. I can take a closer look at some of these for you, no problem.
I'll also ask about the 2hr pickup time frame. Perhaps some exceptions can be made?? (fingers crossed)

So far, I need to check the following:
Roadrunner
Dance Freaks

Anything else?
I don't have too much time, so I can't check everything, but I dont mind checking out a few for fellow members.

Quick update...
Just got a text message from one of the sellers that arrangements can be made to accommodate buyers, within reason.
So ReWrite, you should be good to proceed with Dance Freaks :)

Awesome! Just wanted to say thanks :D.

I've bought from them before as well. Great guys to deal with. I would buy from them again no problem.

For Ashes1: I went and checked out the Roadrunner game and it looks complete. The power cord is spiced up a bit so I didn't feel comfortable powering it up, but it looks pretty solid for its age.
For ReWrite: DanceFreaks is missing the monitor but the rest looks good. I couldnt see inside well due to how large the game is but I did peek in thru the coin door and it looks like it has some guts. It does have the game cd in there too, so thats good.

i am bidding on quite a few things. depending on prices I will most likely be up ther picking up a few items if someone needs me to store something i can. Of course im in Georgia not SC so make sure you know that ahead of time

GonzoJoey: Thank you for checking it out! Any idea (roughly) what size monitor that takes? I haven't found any info on-line, but I did see a few vids of it in arcades next to other machines and guesstimate it at 25".

kfuller19: If that's an open offer, I may want to take you up on that (assuming prices stay lowish). In my past experiences with uShip bidders seems to charge the same whether it's coming from CA or CT to ME.

REwrite i do not mind picking a game up and storing it here in georgia.. (AS long as its a couple weeks not months!)

Of course thats if i actually win a few of the items!

No one bid against me! :)

Hahaha, well cool! I'd hope for less than a week ideally. If you get a chance to PM me your zip code I'll check out some rough shipping quotes, and I'll wait till last day to bid, just to make sure you're still going :).

SO, did anyone from here show up today to "preview" the games? I spoke with Pete this evening and he said less than 10 people showed up. He said someone came in from Georgia, but the rest were locals (as far as he could tell). Just curious if anyone made the trip to check em out.
Again, if anyone needs some last minute details on anything in the auction, let me know and I'll try to get you the info quickly.

The Ikari Warriors is interesting to me.

I recall seeing them EVERYWHERE back in the day and got bored of it.
Haven't seen one in quite a while now. I'd buy it on a whim, but wouldn't go $200.
