I worked on this thing ALL day today. It will be cut in 1/2 MDF so it won't have any grain, using a 1/16th Router bit. The hot dogs should be painted red/white/black. The black layer will be routed about 3/32 and the white layer 5/32. Sign measures just under 24" X 48" it's large!! looking at 75.00 + shipping. Painting should be easy, kind of like a coloring book! Pm me if interested, i can make up to 8 of these.

me either, i'm just going for the Nostalgia type signage you saw when you went into an arcade in the 80's!

I wish I could view your pics. Dang work computer!!!:(

If you could change the wording to "no non-alcoholic drinks" and take the "no swearing" off, I would buy one for sure.

yeah i can actually do that.

That's a big sign I don't have room for, so take my cooments as those of a window shopper, and not a customer with money to spend...

I like the hot dogs, but do find it a bit odd to see the BurgerTime characters next to the Pac-Man font, instead of the BurgerTime font, but maybe that's just me.

i couldn't find a burgertime font! At least it was a midway font. I really can't change the size, the 1/16 router bit has to fit between the vectors, and if i make it any smaller, lines disappear! i can change the wording.

Ah, that makes sense, didn't think about that. Creating a whole font from scratch would be a pain for sure.

Have you thought about just doing the characters individually, separate from the rules sign? It'd be cool to see those two guys framing a door into an arcade, or other iconic characters.

My 2 cents?

Kerning seems to tight. Also maybe choose another video based typeface?

Also the fact the sign isn't even on both sides throws me weird also..

A Mappy one like this would be awesome. Using Mappy and the Big Boss Cat..

yeah, i could do just the hot dogs as seperate individual sign. Mappy, i'd have to hunt the net for vector drawings of them, or Pdf's.

Well, and I hate using this tool.. but if the design is simple enough, couldn't live trace just be used?

I've used it in the past for projects, which I hate to do, but its not bad for a "starting" platform. I've always had to go back and tweak points.

There were Burgertime vectors online? Who knew?
