arcadeoverlays vs. game-on-grafix

game on graffix is the way to go.
very happy with their products, alternatively I have heard some not so good stuff about arcadeoverlays.

I got a Black Widow and Playchoice 10 single monitor overlay from arcadeoverlays.com.
Very happy with the black widow. It might as well have been NOS for me. Loved it.
The playchoice was good, but the texture of it was not as smooth as the original one on my machine. It was a bit more rough. Overall, I was happy with them though.

I need to find a good Tempest one and Arcadeshop.com is sold out!! Game on Graphix does does not have a good Tempest one.

I recently got a SFII:WW CPO from GameOnGrafix. The art is spot on and it's durable, quality printing.

The GoG CPO on top of my old original one that got damaged:

Hmmm? I wonder how that happened ???lol ??? Did you complete your resto yet?

Haha. Not yet, I'm dreading having to clean the sticky residue off with brake cleaner and then priming that thing. Honestly, I haven't had the time or motivation to work on restoring any of my games. I did apply a NOS CPO on Double Dragon last night. It was a much easier ordeal though.

Did you get a new bezel also? What are the measurements on that thing? I just ordered mine from game on graphix as well, and I'm wondering about the size. They said that they ship it as the original size. I'm putting mine onto a dynamo cut corner CP, so I'd imagine that it would fit properly...... I hope.

I just went through a tough ordeal with stripping and priming/painting the CP last night to have it all ready when I get the overlay on Saturday. Today I finished painting the cab.
So I have a little more of a ways to go.

Would like to see how you restore yours.

Looks great Jess! Get working on that SF2 though :)

I finally got around to installing this CPO from Gameongrafix and it looks awesome. Even better than before when I used to have a "NOS" one that had fading and some wrinkles. The colors really pop and it feels very durable.

I'm in the same boat, I need to order a Gauntlet marquee overlay, just need to decide who to order it from.

Yeah I was very satisfied as well. The bezel art matches exactly, so I ordered a marquee as well. The side art is really expensive. I'm going to see if I can get a repo made somewhere. $62 is hard to swallow right now, even if it is really nice side art. Nice classic CP BTW.

Looks like I may try out Arcade Overlays for the first time....

...at least I'll be able to compare them properly to GameonGraphix.

Have not tried arcadeoverlays yet, but I like what game-on-grafix just sent me :)

Yes Dezbaz deserves all the credit for these. He started this project a few years ago. I sent him tons of high rez pics. He did an amazing job, took him months to vector this art. Phoniex Arcade has announced that they will be running Lunar Lander sideart too. It will be a little different, I guess its prototype Lunar lander art. I will be picking up some of that sideart for sure. Im a big supporter of his art too!!:)
