I am just doing a follow up post after I recently posted concerns about dealing with Arcadecomponents.com. Turns out any delays in order and communication were due to them moving. Channelmanic (runs arcadecomponents.com) went out of his way to ease my concerns, and displayed excellent customer service under his circumstances. I received my parts and they work great(2 more Caveman pinballs are alive now). I would not hesitate to purchase from them again!

Yeah, you or anyone else shouldn't hesitate to do business with Channelmanic. He is a great guy and is really good at repairs. There was a thread on here he was in the middle of moving, didn't have Internet at the new place and then not to mention the weather made almost everything here tough since monday night.

Glad he was able to get things straightened out.

AND I NOW HAVE INTERNET!!! :)

Not sure how long it will last at the moment.

This has been an exercise in frustration with my wife talking to at least 3 different people, getting 4 different dates, and then having someone show up out of the blue at the house today to do the install. (On a Saturday!)

During the install the guy found out the order was cancelled (what a charlie foxtrot!) so he called and escalated... and it just came on. :)

We're going to enjoy it while we have it.

Aaron, glad to hear you received the parts OK and that two more machines are alive and well! :)

We've been iced in down here in Dallas this past week so it's been hell getting anything scheduled and done. The city has been closed so our storage building permit has been delayed. Once we get that building I'll get all our parts moved over and start getting the temporary workbench set up in the computer room.

We're in the middle of getting the financing done for the new workshop. It's doing to cost about $45k. EEEEEK. But that has been delayed by the ice too.

At least I've had time to work on the game room a bit during all this!

As soon as the game room is done we'll have a party for the locals.

Also, as soon as the new workshop is done we'll have a repair party here for the locals. :)

Both sound like fun... I like to play games and fix my broken stuff! :D

I'll teach ya how to lay down a surface mount chip with a simple soldering iron and some rosin flux. :)

Sounds cool, must be an impressive building.

I might send my Neo Geo board to you when you're ready to repair.

I believe I complained about it one of the last times we spoke. ;)

Thanks,

I'm waiting on the storage building to go up then I can get everything moved over here and a temp setup going in the computer room. At that time I'll start trickling in repairs - starting with the easy stuff first as I won't have much space to work with.

I can bring this beauty!

I don't recall chatting about that one but bring it. :)

Yes, mad props to channelmanic. Did an incredible job at troubleshooting and repairing the audio on my Galaxian board.
