How many people have a theme to their arcade? I'm talking something specific like Star Wars? The reason I ask is because a friend of mine just scored one of those huge 6X4 ft Millennium Falcon Extraordinaire displays a while back and I'm trying to get it. I want to hang it upside down in the center of my garage. I wasn't trying to go all out with Star Wars stuff since I don't even have a Star Wars game yet but I think this would set the room off well and might react with blacklight too. I'm still not sure if he'll give it up or not but I REALLY want it bad. He got it for his son and its been in his room for a while, I'm hoping he's tired of it and since he wants a PS3 I have an extra I'd trade for it.

6' by 4'? Damn! How the heck are you gonna display that? Even hanging from the ceiling would probably be hitting people in the head. I happen to have a few Star Wars vehicles hanging from the ceiling with fishing line, also a ROTJ poster. That's about as far as I wanted to take that theme. At one point in time I had a SW Mame cab and a SW Trilogy cab together, so that also influenced the decor.

Yeah, 6X4 foot is huge but I think its only a couple feet tall so it should sit high enough to not be in the way. No matter what I'm going to try and get this thing, they were very limited edition displays used in Toys R Us stores and are worth a lot. My friend paid $100 for it and I'm sure I can get it for close to that, or I hope I can anyway. I'll post up some pics if I get it.

My game room/ arcade/ house is getting themed. Going with a roller rink theme. This was inspired by the closing of my childhood skating rink. Got some great stuff from the actual rink when they closed.

Mine has a horror theme. :)

I thought about that too but my ex wife is the devil so it would remind me too much of the old days every time I went in there.

Right now I'm stuck in garage theme but I'm planning on buying a house soon and every time we look at a place I refer to the garage as a 3 car arcade. Thats what I'm shooting for, it'll be fully done but I want to put a roll up door in place of the regular door so it will still open but not disturb the arcade when its opened. I have a friend who does awesome wall murals and he already told me he'd do the room up with UV reactive pictures so I'm excited. I want to have a plan laid out so when I do move I know exactly what I'm going to do to the arcade, I dont want to half set it up and then keep moving things to make it right.
