arcade sighting in old movie

That machine went up on Ebay last year... I believe it was serial number 003? It sold damn high I remember that!! Actually the owner of klov Greg McLemore purchased it after confirming that it really was the only white compuer space that existed and wasn't painted to look like that.

thats pretty cool i didnt know the history behind it but thought the white one was a rarity

I looked through those pictured searching for a way to determine if the one bought by McLemore was the one from the movie and I did notice something. Maybe they are just bad photos, but the one in the movie does not appear to have a lock on the front. Maybe that hole was filled when it was painted white for the movie, obviously making it a different machine.

LOL, I had forgotten about that but the lock is part of the conspiracy! :)
Its similar to the guy on the grassy knoll and the moon landing hoaxes... Most of us believe it happened the way history tells us, a few people think the locks were switched or cabinets hand something strange going on there...

THE missing lock raises extreme doubt on the subject. excellent observation!

Fiberglass is an art to work with and paint perfectly ie. corvette body work.

It would be very easy for an expert painter to fill in the key hole during a sand down

repaint operation to produce a white painted computer space.

Due to movie making budgets for props it would be cheaper to redo a used one from

somewhere versus a new custom unit special order, especially for such a short scene.

on the other hand a small piece of white tape/decal could also conceal the lock hole during

filming.
