ok...So I know this is a really odd question, but I am curious to what your alls set ups is. If you have games in rows in your arcade, how much space do you put between them...Like I said, odd question. I am trying to squeez as many games into my basement as possible, and one of the main things is trying to figure out how much space to leave between rows of games so people can get in there and play. In all honestly not many people go down there except me, and ocationally the wife and my nieces..

It depends on your space. When I had my games in my basement I had them just about touching each other. And maybe an inch between each pinball machine. Plus it's more what I remember from arcades BITD. The down side is that you don't get to enjoy the side art.

I guess I described this wrong...I meant games in columbs..it seems to be the most efficent way with current set up. I just want to have enough space between the columbs for people to be able to enjoy the games....the ones I have in rowes against the wall are side to side against each other....

When I laid out my basement, I made a couple assumptions. One was that you need 1.5' of space for the person standing in front of the machine, and you also need 2' minimum space for walkway... which I think has worked out pretty well for me.

Layout wise, I'd avoid putting machines facing each other... it seems to cause a lot of tight spots, where having games facing the sides of other machines seems to work really well.
