What game(s) do you think have the best sound clips to use as a cell phone ring tone? I was thinking either the Phoenix boss battle or the Ms Pac intermission chase...

I have a lot of them on my phone, all the Ms Pac songs are used for all the ladies in my family right now.

Also have Frogger , Burgertime, Paperboy, and Star Wars arcade theme to name a few more, I will be adding more.

Where do u find these tones? I have a DROID RAZR and when i look them up on google play under arcade ringtones I never find any??

I have my wife set to play bubble bobble. Sometimes I don't answer the phone immediately because I'm enjoying the music. :)

I use the Dig Dug start song, not a big fan of the game but the song rocks.

I use one of Q*Bert's swear sounds for my text messaging notification. I get funny looks when it goes off, as no one knows what it is.

I've used the Galaga fighter capture sfx on an old phone. Keep saying I'm going to set up my new one, but haven't yet.

not sure about most phones but if you have your iphone broken in cydia theres a lot of game related sounds. i have my text message alerts set as pacman dying. i get comments almost daily about that sound!

My ringtone set for when I get paged by work is "fighter pilots needed in sector wars" from Astro Blaster. It goes off ALL the time driving everyone but me batshit crazy.

A lot of them I used a Youtube mp3 grabber to take a copy of the mp3 sound file off of Youtube, then used a free tool called "iRinger" to create the ringtone in a 30 sec clip, this tool also imports the file into iTunes in the proper "tones" for use on any "i" device.
I'm sure any mp3 file can be used even easier for a ringtone on any Android device. With a search you might even find sound clips posted/hosted on different sites for easy enough download ready to use.

Quick search gave this:

A bunch of them on these sites, Youtube has alot of classic games posted, Google for a Youtube mp3 grabber and go to town ;)

My wife uses Dig Dug for my ringtone. I have a few on my phone for a couple local collectors.

I tend to use a few from some NES & SNES games... I tend to search for the raw sound files that have been ripped from the actual game and then convert them to whatever format I need.

It can get tricky to find raw arcade sound files (especially newer ones) though. MAME or other similar communities tend to have the talents to rip the audio though.

http://snesmusic.org/v2/ has a huge archive of SNES sounds if that's your thing.
