I warned my wife & daughter that if they did not control their wasteful use of water & lights that I was going to install coin-op timers on all of the lights and showers.

Too funny. I'd love to see a coin-op house. Work well with the fridge and a teenager. Although that may need a bill acceptor.

The coin bucket and power timer would have to be mounted internally below.

Another idea, if you don't mind the bulk:

As used on kiddie rides. This would absolutely do the job.
It has a timed power switcher rated for 15A I believe.
