I have no idea how robust the circuitry is behind these
or how well they work, just passing the link along to those
who may be interested in such lunacy!

You could use a push button dimmer switch. Then just use the arcade button in place of the stock one. This way the switch is still safe and you get the look with just 1 arcade button.

I like this idea but the only thing is I think the shaft of the dimmer switch is a bit tall to take the game button, so you'd have to dremel it down a bit, right?

Someone should go all out and install a coin mech as their switch :D

Drop a quarter in and all the games turn on.

those better be some very shallow buttons, and finding a housing unit would be a royal pita. i'd be worried about a fire hazard.

I would have just said "Boxwood", but we'll accept that answer too.

PLANT NERD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL! Yeah, I know. I was debating whether or not to answer that one. Only reason I know is because I just bought a bunch of them for foundation plantings.

Anyways, if I had a gameroom (and not just a wall of my basement), I'd definitely go for something like this. I like the coin reject one in the other linked thread too.

Ah, Buxus Sempervirens, how you stink like old lady...

I'm guessing they've cut down the buttons, and are using them to actuate a Decora-style switch:

or one of these:

At least, I hope that's what they're doing, since that way wouldn't endanger the house it's installed in.

So How long do you want the Games to turn on? 25 cent for 30 minutes of power? Laughs.

You know this might be a great idea for kids who forget to turn off the lights.
I think you might need a change machine after a while.

25 cent to charge a cellphone?
A dollar for 30 mintues of TV?

Laughs. You know I think there a product in that idea...
