I have a theory, nearly every time I buy what I think is a working game/part and plug it in it doesn't work. Then, when I search the threads for info I think I somehow have managed to purchase the unsolved/unfixed board that someone started a thread about 13 years ago! I swear, it's like buying a puzzle and at rummage sale and then you go to put it together and then you find out it's missing a bunch of pieces!
Went for an "easy" win after failing to patch together a working light gun from parts. I had a lil' moment of "freetime" only to find out the Area 51/maximum force board I got resets anytime I press the trigger on Gun 1.
Good news is I apparently will never get bored of playing any games because I've beaten them too many times. Instead, they beat me before I can even get to Level 1!
Quarter muncher? Pff! Dollar and time muncher!
Video games don't cause violence, just frustration...
I now vow to play any game that someone has spent time has fixing themselves. Even a Zaxxon. Its like making food for a party and then no on tries it!
