Arcade places to check out in DC/ Quantico, VA area?

I'm leaving Sunday, 2-26-12 for a week in the Quantico, VA/ DC area. What arcade related spots are must stops in the area?

Greg

There's this place that has pins

Closest real arcade I know if is Crabtowne USA in Glenn Burnie MD (maybe 45 minutes from DC). Crabtowne has something like 90 video games and 25 pins. Contition is sometimes questionable though. It's not some type of throwback nostalgic joint. It's the real deal, still in existance spot that's been there since the 80s.

Quantico can be bit of a drive to even get to DC.

If you are around on the 3rd, you may want to PM DJ DNS. He is having a party which isn't that far from Quantico and it looks like more then a few KLOVers are going.

I heard the traffic blows. I saw DJ DN's party, disappointed I'm flying back to Omaha the afternoon of the 3rd!

Traffic does blow, but its a distance thing as well. Quantico is like 30 to 40 miles to DC and 80 miles to Glen Burnie.

You gotta remember, 30-40 miles means nothing to a guy that lives in Nebraska! I live in a town of 20-25,000 people, 80 miles west of Omaha and 80 miles north of Lincoln. Travel is an every week deal.

If you hit Crabtowne, let me know and I shall see if I can stop in. I like like 5 minutes away from there and it is always nice to meet KLOVers in person. Beyond that, I have a warehouse instead of a gameroom, so I can probably offer up a some playtime there if you want.

Hey pinball, sorry if this is a dumb question, but is your warehouse your business or your storage/ play area (or I guess both ;) ).

Around here, miles don't mean anything... it's when you travel those miles. 10 miles can take hours if you're on the road at the wrong time.

Anyway, I'm in Manassas Park, which isn't too far from there... you're welcome to drop by. You can see my arcade here: http://www.projectvb.com/arcade/ .

Damn that is a nice spread!

Don't get me wrong, I'm no country pumpkin, I've lived in San Diego and have experienced Chicago and LA (among others) at the wrong times of the day as well! I've heard DC area traffic is brutal at the wrong times. That's why I wasn't even going to try and get to Reagan to catch a flight after 5 on Friday. They say that place is brutal Friday at the end of the work week.
