Hey,
I'm having another arcade party on Saturday 10/15, going from noon 'till whenever (it usually clears out around dinner time). Of course you're welcome to show up and leave whenever you feel like it.
Everyone is welcome... feel free to bring the wife, kids, friends, etc. I try to keep it kid friendly, but with a large gathering of video game fans, there's bound to be some profanity and conversations that are probably inappropriate for some... so use discretion.
I'm considering hosting another "repair day" for a few hours in the morning, in case anyone would like to bring stuff to work on. It's a great excuse to get motivated to look at a project that's been sitting untouched, or to just learn simple troubleshooting and repair, like installing a cap kit. I'm still not sure if I'm gonna be able to do it... but let me know if you're interested and I can try to make it happen. Otherwise I'll plan on hosting another full repair day sometime early November.
I've rearranged the arcade, and changed out a few games from the last party, and hopefully getting a couple more soon. You can see pics and vids of my old layouts here: http://www.projectvb.com/arcade/ . I'll update it with a new video next weekend.
Anyway, drop me a message if you plan on making it, and if you need my address/directions. It's no big deal if you say you'll make it and don't show up... I'd just like a rough count so I know how much pizza and soda to get.
