Arcade Party in MD

hey bee,

im not going to able to go today. Ive been working on a big job and i have to work today. Sorry i cant make it... hope everything turns out cool... thanks anyways

I can make it.... the wife just gave me the green light so I am hitting the road now!

I need a WG4600 chasis if anyone has one! or we can look at the two that I could not get working... but most importantly I could use a couple hours of gaming...

I also have a wg4900 if anyone needs one.

See you soon!

Wick

Thanks Tim (SuperBee4406) for the fun time and the good food!

Good meeting you guys: Dave (MikeyDee), Jim (?), Nima (?)

Good seeing you guys again: Rich (Wick), Sean (?), Mike (Riptor)

Now, who did I miss? :)

Tim,

Thanks again for throwing the game day! It was great to see everybody and it's always a challenge for me to separate klov names with real names...

I really enjoyed playing your APB! (and might need to make room for that game someday).

It's a challenge for me too so I edited my message to include KLOV handles of those I could remember.

Bee,

Thanks for throwing the party. It was a good time. I enjoyed both playing the games and talking about games. :D

The next time I'm down, I'm going to fix your Spy Hunter so the pedal can get a better high end. (And get the battery fixed so my high scores can be saved ;) )

Do people really travel that far to go to arcade parties? Thinking about having one in Cincinnati if people would come...

I promise if you have another and Dave comes down, I will be tagging along. I've never played APB, Tron or Spy Hunter.
what is APB? what! what!!!!

Fixed! ;-)

Seriously though, someone needs to do a training video on how to play APB. MikeyDee almost beat the default high score by accidentally finding a stash of cash. He could never find it again though.

I recall not being very interested in Tron as a kid... but I really enjoyed playing it as a (ahem) "adult"... the sounds are really great... lighting and cab art uber cool... its now on my want list... (don't tell my wife... I'm supposed to be done)

Also I've never played StarTrek... and I have to admit I really like it... its bright and nice and noisy... classic vector style!... another one if I come across I may have to pick up...

I was playing some APB tonight. I have been using a chair, makes it easier to play. Some games I play through, and some games I just explore.

Riptor, Can you tell how to get a good screen on Mspac, so I can adjust the colors.
Thanks.

We travel from New Zealand to Australia for Arcade/Pinball parties and once a year the Aussies come to us, so yeah, people travel for good times :D

Maybe you can take a ride down one time, and help me adjust the pedal on the game. Love to see the game 100% working, which I though it was. One thing I need to know is what are the correct fuses that go into the power brick. It says 5A, but they blow as soon as you start a game. I have been running 7A in there now.
