Arcade Party Grand Rapids MI

skate323k137, sorry to hear about the lung. Hope the recovery goes well. And welcome to KLOV!!

Hatrick, Omega Race is going strongly thanks to you!! Still need to work on my game play though :)

debaser138, lol, thats right. I forgot about that!

Okay, this is a go!

Saturday is all set. Anyone interested in coming send me a PM and I'll send off details.

5pm Saturday the 29th! Ending whenever :)

I think it sounds great, 90% sure I can make it if you have room for 1 more? Going to fire off a PM for more info. Also can I bring anything- food, drink, any parts your looking for?
Aaron

I'm just down the road from you. (Dean Lake and 3 Mile)

I'm gonna try to make it there if you have room for one more. PM sent.

Kevin, that's be fantastic!!

Always room for one more!

And very curious to see how that back glass looks in person!

There is a slight glimmer of hope I can make it. I'm trying to move our Saturday dinner get-together to a Saturday lunch event. *fingers crossed*

I might need to take it easy on the requests though - I finally convinced my wife that an arcade cabinet in the basement would fit OK. I haven't mentioned ideally putting two down there.... :)

I'd like 3+ and a pin, but the garage isn't an ideal option so that will have to wait ~10 years until a bigger house.

I'll PM you for directions if it works out Nerbflong.

Do you mind if I bring a few Pinball at the Zoo flyers to pass out?

No at all! Pinball at the zoo is fantastic fun every year and where I usually pick up a new pin :)

And D-Roy, Push it. Lunch is better! I'd say tell the wife she can come, but don't know if that'd help your cause for more in the basement at your place

The party is on today at 5pm!! Compete for high scores and win prizes!

PM for directions, info and more!

Bring lots of quarters!

A big thank you to Nerbflong!

Only stopped in for an hour but had a great time!

Awesome setup and a very nice guy.

I especially enjoyed watching the young kids running around with armloads of plush that they won in the crane game. So cool!

Just got home from about 3 hours of great game play! Thanks to Nerbflong for putting on a GREAT get together. I had a great time in a very nice game room(s). I got to finally play a live working Omega Race, also liked the Dungeons and Dragons pin. I was planning on beating your high score on Gyruss until Fred came along and mopped the floor with me;.)
Thanks for a great evening gaming
Aaron

Thanks to everyone that attended last night! Good times and some great gaming. And now I have some scores to try and beat. Sheesh :)

Special thanks to Aaron for the funky fantastic soda's! I'll be pestering you at Pinball at the Zoo for more.

And thanks to Kevin too for dropping off that sweet as hell dragon pinball glass! Now I just got to frame and hang it.

I'll have to set up another party, it was a blast and great to meet alot of semi/local collectors!

Not so surprisingly, the crane game had the most plays. Here's the tokens I dumped out of it (It was empty before the party)

I'm guessing over 500!!

And I have to say, it was a nice change to see ALL the machines played. Every single one!!

I'm shocked that's all the tokens you got out of the Crane game! While I was there, it had a steady line of kids playing, I even had to wait in line for 5+ min to try it(and didn't win anything;.( ).
Thanks again for the fun
Aaron

There is no way I'll miss the party next time if you have another one.

I was so desperate to play an arcade game I spent my lunch break today stopping at nearby bowling alley in hopes of finding a game to play. I ended up at Chuck E. Cheese. I know... all they had that was a somewhat "classic" arcade game was Metal Slug 6....
