Arcade open house/50th birthday party near Baltimore, MD this Saturday, June 25th.
First, my apologies to Rodney for not being able to come out to OH for his party. I was planning on doing that, but it didn't work out. My wife, who has zero interest in anything arcade, then suggested we have some kind of arcade party for my 50th Bday which is on the 28th. So, sorry this is so late...
We're going to have a small arcade open house and pinball tournament at my place in Eldersburg, MD on Sat June 25 starting at 2pm. The pinball tourney is set to start at ~4pm and the party will go to whenever. Contact Casey ("Pinball Wizard" here on the KLOV) about the tourney, but I think it is a $5 buy in. We plan on having dogs, brats & some pulled pork along with Chips & dip, etc. We will also have some Corky's ribs. Please RSVP by Thurs nite via PM to me(I know, this is ridiculously short notice!). I will give out directions via PM, but my house is very close to Liberty High School. We will have some beer and some coolers and ice if you bring your own. If you don't already have plans, please stop by. There will be kids there and a 4 ft deep redneck pool and a playset with swings & a slide. It might be a good idea to bring your own outdoor folding chair and towels if you want to swim.
My basement is more like an old ops' warehouse as opposed to a spiffy retro basement arcade, but there is a good selection of working games.
Here is the unofficial official list of games that's subject to change:
Video:
Assault
Q Bert
Centipede
Moon patrol
Crazy climber
Tetris
Galaga
The pit
Gyruss
Time pilot
Challenger
Phoenix
Mikie
Missile command
Scramble
Frogger
Front line (maybe)
Track n field
Carnival (no sound :-( )
Donkey kong
Burger time
Elevator action
Ladybug
Major havoc
maybe some others...
Pinball:
Gorgar (maybe)
Firepower
Kiss
Paragon
Eldorado
Special force
Super Mario Bros
Black hole
Flicker
