arcade monitor repair from Africa. return shipping to village. no house #. NEAT!

I thought it was pretty cool to know no matter where you are in the world, there may just be a video game around the corner from you :)
repaired x2 large screen korteks for this guy.
interestingly the video chassis takes inverted for his game application.

I work with a guy from the Gambia. Came over one night after work to look at my games. He had never heard of Pacman or Donkey Kong. He did like NBA Showtime and some Neo*Geo soccer games though.

Funny how the people who are actually in Africa are working on their games, while Obama's illegal alien uncle from Kenya is getting arrested for drunk driving here in the states after nearly hitting a cop car this past weekend! But don't worry, this woman has it all figured out and can tell you how much better things are for those who live in Africa! :)

GOD BLESS AMERICA!

Of course she felt "free" when she was not working. Nothing but play. Wow, a deep, deep thinker here.

Then she goes on to speak about her "bondage" to her job. She has to work because she is in debt. In other words, she already spent money she didn't have....car, house, whatever. This, my friends, is a picture of your Obama democratic voting base. They don't want to work, they want to do what they feel like and have others responsible for their well-being.

This is why America is rapidly becoming a third-world country.

I have sent some packages to weird places over the years. Ever seen an address where there are landmarks instead of an actual address. "4th house on left" ....weird.
Second row, fifth cave on north ridge mountain face. JK on that one.

Wow.. I watched that whole video and don't know what to say really.. You can tell she's not faking and is 'for real'. She's certainly entitled to her opinion, but so much of what she says is far beyond crazy and delusional. She goes on and on about how capitalism is a scam and she's a slave to what she admits is her own debt. Well, guess what lady.. any debt you acquired was by your own decision, not forced. Slave to this and that, etc.. just absurd.

Best line from that rant....

"Believe it or not there was electricity in Africa in ancient times"

There's been something found that resembles a battery made from clay jars, but I think it's generally accepted that there wasn't electricity as we know it and that thing might have been used for electroplating, if there's anything TO it.. To make a statement that ancient Africa had electricity is idiotic and uninformed. The populated areas barely have a stable grid now.

Yes Its very intriguing..
here are some pics of The Gambia curtsey of Wikipedia
