Got a lead on a operator that wants to unload all his old games. Some work, some don't.
I went over there Saturday and took a look. Jotted down the games he mentioned and I saw.

This is a partial list:
-Police Trainer
-Crusin USA
-Ultracade
-Arctic Thunder
-Daytona USA
-Ms Pacman cocktail
-Ms Pacman standup
-Operation Wolf X2
-Road Riot X3
-Mega Zone
-Golden Tee '99
-Kramer Krane
-Another Crane
-Super Off Road (I think 3 wheel version?)
-Super Pacman
-Pool Tables (1 he will sell)
-Bunch of other stuff

He is keeping all the bar slot type games (don't care, not interested in those).
He wants it all gone in one sweep. Said he was just going to take it all to auction, but I bet he know it wouldn't be worth it. I tried to get a per cabinet price and also a price for everything he wanted to get rid of, but he wouldn't get me any. He wants me to give him a price. I'm thinking he wants way too much and I don't want to piss him off with my usual operator lot price of $50-$75 per item.

Go for it? Lot price?

I would be interested in the Super Off Road if it is a 3 wheel version, and of course the ms pac cocktail. Also other parts and pieces, mainly boards and artwork if any.

Offer him $1500 for the lot.

So what if you piss him off with your low offer. If he won't take a reasonable offer on his pile of junk then you are never going to get a good deal from him anyway.

Because I REALLY want a crane machine for the kids ???

I'll shoot him the offer tonight. (since he doesn't do email)

I'd say low ball him, so I can low ball you for the police trainer =D

If he is going to try to take these to auction, I'd only think a few would actually do well, and he might end up left with stuff people won't buy at all. That being said, meet him at the auction and buy only the ones you can make money on!

He's not going to take them to auction. He is currently going to be away for a couple weeks and will deal with me then. (hopefully not too much snow by then)
Will update then...

Don't sound to promising if he won't even give you a price, then wants to go to auction, then is going away for a week......He's blowing you off, he's probably a hoarder.

Every few auctions I go to the are giving the cranes away for $1.

i might be interested in the super pac for the right price, i am pretty good at that game and it doesnt seem to be one most people are nostalgic for.
