Has anyone else bought the matching set of locks from Bob Roberts? I bought some and found I could only install it in one position which seemed backwards to lock the coin controls type door closed leaving the key hole horizontal and having to crank it counter clock wise to get the latch in place (sweeping up from below with the cam).

I'd like to have the lock close in the vertical position (looks better) and cam sweep down to latch, but after fiddling with it for a while I gave up. The only thing I saw I could do is maybe rotate the cylinder 90deg as there are small releifs cut to maybe allow this, but I'm still afraid it will mar the hole a little bit.

Pulling the cartridge and flopping that didn't seem to change it. I also didn't notice any ways to adjust it inside either.

Any other folks have experiance here?

Thanks!

There's three things you can "adjust" to make it fit and sweep in the direction you want.

The barrel - orientation determined by the two flats. (only fits in the door two ways)

The stop - the little piece noted in green in the pic. Can be flipped and or rotated to adjust stopping points.

The lock arm itself - if it has a square hole then you have more options, if it has the ovalish hole then you are limited a bit.

It requires a combination of all three things.
And I usually situate them in that order. Mount the barrel in the door, rotate or flip the stop to sweep in the direction I want and then see if the lock arm will mount accordingly.

Ill look for the stop, I may have mistaken it for just a simple clip. The arm is square cut, so I'm good there.

Thanks for the insite!

Sometimes that little stop doesn't just "fall off"..... sometimes it takes a small flat bladed screwdriver or such to work it off. (and a little effort to get it back in place)
Just depends on how tight it is on the square it sits over.

Keep in mind once you pop that stop off the guts of the lock can fall out of the barrel.
