Arcade Land

Cool little video done by the Roanoke Times featuring some of our locals and bits from yesterdays meet up :)

edit nevermind working, awesome piece/video, so the older guy toward the end does he have an actual arcade or is it just his personal place?

Just picked up today's paper, there's a nice big color 8 by 10 of me talking to Scot in there along with a great summary of Terry's get together! I'll post a scan as soon as I get the scanner working...

Thanks StrainedSky! You just saved me a lot of trouble and scanner driver downloading :)

And I sure did Mindl3ss! :D Pokemon Catch, it's a cool redemption title. I spent most of today cleaning it up and trying to get the balls unjammed, in the end I realized it was just a loose screw on the flapper, works great aside from a bad connection on the prize motor (which I'll get around too tommorow, haha). Lucario6 was there indeed, he was the one who sold it to me and is a great guy to deal with.

Wow! That was an excellent piece; totally agree that sums up the hobby pretty well.

Sometimes those human interest type pieces tend toward weirdness, that one was very well done. I'm guessing whoever produced the piece, was a fan and if they weren't, they are now.

So let me get this straight... I've been to Roanoke a couple of times in the past year or so for work, and there's been a badass arcade in the area? Dah!
