Arcade Ideas

How about a financial theme?

Like Wall Street.

Not a bad idea, you could decorate your walls with cereal boxes and cans of beans.

Huh. Why not just build shelves all over the arcade room and store your groceries on them in the open then? Give it a real super-market feel. Just make sure they line up nicely. It will free up storage in the kitchen for your tokens.

This may be a shock to some but I am not a TMNT fan. Yes I do own one shirt my wife bought me but I rarely wear it. I watched the show when nothing else was on.

Don't want to do random stuffed animal turtles and such as we have already done the guest bathroom and the front porch with fake turtles.

Not to big on Mario so don't want to go that way.

A mural with a real pic of a lake/pond with turtles would be cool but probably expensive. Another idea would be to have 2 glass tanks with my biggest common and biggest alley snapper for showcase. But that would be expensive.

My holy grail for the supermarket idea would be the Big Star sign from Dumas, AR. But that was going to cost me 500 bucks + 1600 to have it taken down. Then I would have to have it wrapped and transported here and pay someone to install and hook it up for me. Way to much money.

You'll ask for ideas, people will offer them, you'll turn them all down and ultimately do nothing.

Consider the Tootsie Pop turtle...

If said ideas SUCK or cost to much money then yeah I am going to turn them down.

You offered it as option # 3:

3. Water/turtle theme. Put a huge photo of a pond and such. Not to keen on this idea.

after saying this:

Going to start working on my home arcade this year. The first thing I need to do is get rid of a few turtles (They will be released not sold). Going to try and go from 58 to 20. My space will be divided into 3 sections. One for turtles, one for the arcade, and one for a work shop/office to work on tokens, games and a new business venture idea.

What do you think people are gonna go with? Seriously though, I know you'll ultimately do nothing, so I offer Fritz's write-in choice of an entire wall of Televangelist's Penises painted white. You could get Billy Graham's, Peter Popoff's, Jim Bakker's, etc. Perhaps even suspend halo's over some of the smaller ones to make them look larger.

Are any of those fine gentlemen the guy who would touch people on TV and they would faint? That shit fascinated me as a kid.
