I bought a house a year ago and it's been nothing but trouble. my deck collapsed and recently I found out my sewage main under the slab is broken. in between all that nonsense I finished my garage. anyway it is all finally coming together. i hope to have the pipe fixed by the end of the weekend and I think i've figured out the setup I want. I have 5 arcades in my newly finished garage:

neo 4 slot
rastan
vs super mario
MAME MK cabinet
Xbox 360 MK cabinet

and 3 games in the upstairs living room:

neo 100+ in 1 cab
defender
mame 4p cab

and 5 big screen tvs (1 sd 36 inch for classic console games and 1 xbox 360, 4 lcds for xbox 360s) in the garage

and 5 big screens in my downstairs living room (for xbox 360s)

with this setup I can run crazy 10 player xbox 360 5 vs 5 games with everyone on their own big screen. and I have a 4p mame for all the 4p arcade games, a 2p mame for whatever, a 100+ neo for tons of games, a 4 slot neo for other neo games. a few dedicated arcade cabs, and a tornado foosball table.

I think it's the best I can do with the space I have to work with.

it's been a lot of work and I'm not even done with the nonsense. you guys with 15+ arcades are nuts. i just have 8 and a ton of tvs and just all that junk is a lot to handle.

yeah, i threw a gaming party during the summer with 8 screens going and it was a hit, so i figured why not 2 more to get 5 vs 5. gears of war is my favorite game and part 2 has 5 on 5 vs so I had to get that done. i don't really have room for more than that. i have 7 xbox 360s at the moment, but should be no prob getting 3 more to show up next time I throw down.

I think the 10 screen/x360 setup is pretty darn sweet because you can get 10 people all in the same game. x360s are around $100 used, toss in the cost of a 32 inch lcd ($300) and $100 worth of games and it's around $500/seat. i could have some more arcades instead but the 360s are just so versitle and games are cheap. I have 8-10 copies of around 15 different games that are a year or two old and they were cheap, around $5 per game. that sort of thing would just be impossible with arcades.
