Arcade Games That You are Embarrassed to still Have on Your Want List?

Super Basketball by Konami.

Spent one week during a summer in my youth playing it; major nostalgia for me. :D

I gotta admit, I actively sought out both Primal Rage and Rampage, and they seem to not get a lot of love. One game that still on my radar (that I may or may never actually pick up) is Arch Rivals. I know, I know, most think it's a terrible game, but when I was 16-17 years old, we played the shit out of the game at the Skill Mill Multi Level arcade in St. Cloud. I have great memories of beating the hell out of my friend Jim while we played. So anyone else actively seeking out a bonafied stinker, or is it just me?

Man, I LOVE Arch Rivals bitd. What other game could you go and "shank" your opponent back then! ;)

I would love to get my hands on a Circus Charlie. I would even be happy with a Jamma board and Marquee, so I could build my own. The game doesn't have a WOW! factor, but to me its fun to play.

Heh I'll be happy to throw a Hippodrome pcb in a candy cab if you stop in to play some games. I liked the game bitd also but it hasn't aged too well compared to other fighters.

For me it's Hippodrome. A little known fighter that came out just before the Street Fighter era games. You could fight head to head, but the main game was the 1 player gladiator style fights against 8 crazy opponents.

I dumped so many quarters into that game, and eventually beat the giant at the end. I haven't played it since. I'm not sure if its one of those games thats better left with the nostalgic mystique of my teenage arcade years, or if I'd still be into it.

Moonwalker

So many funny looks from people when you say you're a Michael Jackson fan. Crazy private life aside, the guy could make music and he was HUGE all the years I was growing up. A few weeks before he died I told my wife that he just needed to die so that people could enjoy his music again. Finally got a PCB and marquee for a jamma cab I have, just need to get the board repaired.

TL/DR; I killed Michael Jackson

Not too long ago I had the urge to pick up an X Men Children Of The Atom board again. I knew full well I don't like the game anymore, but the nostalgia was flowing too strong. I regretted it almost instantly. Marvel Super Heroes was tons better.

Gals Panic S2. Not sure I'd give it it's own cab, but it'll be on the playlist in MAME someday. Gameplay is too much fun to not look past the OMG CARTOONZ BEWBZ factor.

Mappy. Only embarrassed because it should've been the FIRST game I looked for.

KLAX. Just a personal favorite...doesn't seem that it was ever that popular...

Area 51. No logical reason to own one, I've beat the game on one play before. :|

....sigh...you and your candy cabs...you already tried to sell me on those, and I'm not buying.

HAH! Kidding man. I really can't wait to see your epic collection in person someday.

Rampage rocks! It was one of only a handful of multiplayer games BITD and me and my friends played the heck out of it. Not every arcade had a Joust or Mario Bros.
