Here is a tip on "cruising". The only thing free is food. Everything else costs and costs a lot. Wine at dinner was $28 a bottle, for a $7 bottle of Schmitt Sonne Riesling.
My family did a cruise with Holland America a few years ago, and I spent a little time at the arcade. Sadly, I didn't spend a whole lot of time there. I just dug up some of the tokens though.
We went on NCL's Pride of America (Sails around Hawaiian Islands) a couple of years ago.
I was hyped up when I looked at the ship map and there was a dedicated arcade room. Must to my dismay, it was run down with only drivers, shooters, ddr and a ms. pac/galaga. There was no one in there which wasn't surprising.
We just got back from Hawaii tonight. We didn't do a cruise this time, but we saw the same cruise ship docked in Oahu with probably the same run down games inside.
Every time I see an "arcade" now, I'm just thankful I have a better setup at home that I can play for free.
