I've been to this arcade - it's in the Montebello Town Center and it's closing by the end of the week and this stuff has gotta go. The Rush 2049s are in pretty good shape. The MvC IIs are in okay shape but as I recall the monitors looked like they needed a little work. The Silent Scope has a problem with the gun. The guy claims it's "just a wiring problem" - ha ha.

gone. closed out.

Hey was there a couple days ago, Picked up some of of the scraps, some wires, some buttons without switched. Nice guy the owner, and I used to go there as a kid. Now its closed and gone.
lots of scrap scaps in the back, joystick bases and all, but nothing seemed like it woulda produced a good stick. Nice guy thought, and sucks that the place is gone...
last arcade locally, the one by here in commerce is gone too..
They were there full in effect and then gone..
go figure.

Don't feel too bad for the guy, he made a lot of money in the arcade biz and then sold off most of his stuff 2-3 years ago for top dollar. He used to have 8 arcades around the LA area. The rent in that mall alone was $9000 a month so you can imagine the kind of business he was doing at one time. He lasted there 8 1/2 years.

Did he really sell that Silent Scope? I was eyeing that, but it needed some work - just a wiring problem he claimed - yeah right...........

oh wow, Serious?

wow, I had no idea he owned many other places.
wow, wish i coulda got the scrap outta each place lol.
silent scope was there when they were loading up the truck..
gotta love the lame gangster scribed on the view glass on the gun side.
And WOW. 9 K ?? outch. and yea, I think part of it was the fact of when
he bought from tilt, he ended up killing the ticket redemption..
