I just got an order last week from Rob at The Arcade Boneyard and wanted to drop in and say thanks.
I ordered a untested flyback for a K4600 monitor and a fuse/interlock box for my Frogger. I got the parts for a very good price and they were shipped fast. Today I got a chance to install the flyback in my monitor and it works great. Thanks again Rob :)

Not this again... :/

http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=128728

Quote from previous thread:

I know Rob gets a bad rap and his site is horrid (no offense dude), but I needed a replacement front glass for my red tent and he communicated really well with me, gave me a good deal, shipped it quickly and packaged it so well there was no way the glass was going to break (http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=124182)

He may not have the same view of the hobby as most guys in here and makes it pretty clear in his presentation of his website, but it doesn't take away from the fact that he provides a good, reliable service. As far as burning cabs, I've heard multiple reasons why some guys choose to destroy cabs, but that's a whole other discussion that's probably already been debated here.

All I can say is that my Red Tent is complete now. I didn't have to reproduce the front glass that was missing and it was a pleasant experience doing business with Rob.

Just sharing my one experience with Arcade Boneyard.

rob is a good guy to deal with...

i have bought lots of parts from rob, stuff that couldn't be found elsewhere, and he communicates well, fair prices, responsive, generous, goods always well packed, and fast shipping.

fantastic customer service.

thanks rob.

Aren't all the manuals for games and monitors copywritten material too? A lot of other game parts vendors host them online.

The difference is most of those manufacturers don't actively protect their copyrights... there are exceptions too for vids, If I remember right, Gottlieb, LLC. protects their manuals pretty aggressively.
the copyrights for many juke manuals are now owned by victory glass, and from what I understand they protect them actively...there was a thread on this in the juke forum too...

Nothing personal against the OP, never had any dealings with him, so I can't comment on anything else.

X2 I am always seeing his ads but they don't last long due to major Flaggage

Not directed at anyone in particular but it's funny how people here will flag someone they dont like but when they're the ones getting flagged there's no end to the crying."some douche keeps flagging my ads !!! "

Most people complaining about someone flagging their ads aren't spamming them all over the country.

The Boneyard has been good to me, got parts I needed that allowed me to restore my games. Fair pricing and good shipping will have me return for more too.

As far as cabinet burning, well, we have folks destroying cabinets here too... at least the boneyard does the hobby a service by saving the parts for those of us who want "original" parts. They do have to come from somewhere, there aren't warehouses full of NOS anymore. I mean, hell try to buy a new CRT for that matter.

CL spamming... who cares? Times are tough, he keeps spare parts available for those of us who are poor cheap bastards. Manuals... well I know of many sites hosting them.... including some of our inner circle folks... so what is the big deal there either? After all, people wanting manuals likely have the hardware already, so why the crying? This coming from a guy (me) who just bought an original manual off EBAY for $15 for a machine I own. Now I would have a problem with people selling repro manuals.
