I've been looking for the name of an arcade game I played only once, during a summer long, long ago, and I could really use some help. It was an 80's game, definately japanese in origin, and it was a horizontal side-scroller. Gameplay consisted of using fairly large and well-defined samuri guy sprite to slice all oncomming oppontents (also samurai-types, though mostly one-hit targets with differnt colored kimonos), who would end up being slashed and shown spurting green or red blood and a stunned expression as they fell off the screen. I think when you beat a level and it's boss, a japanese fan opened up momentarilly on the screen before the next stage began.
I'm also trying to identify another quirky game with a quirky title, that should be much more familliar to most people here (I know it was fairly common, but I can't for the life of me figure out the title). It involved a paint roller and various things coming across the screne to disrupt he painting. The gameplay was something like zookeeper, (and not like qix) if I remember correctly. I think it had a three word title. Again, any help resolving this brainfart would be appreciated.
