Arcade F'in Fire

You can watch Arcade Fire right now on youtube. Free concert.

I will be so glad when they finish their shows and get the hell out of the DC area... :)

- Mike

Just exclude the word fire from results:

"arcade -fire"

Of course if that rare DOT for $50 is on a street called "Fire Alley" then you'll miss it.

Try Minneapolis - a comon street is called Arcade. Hopeless to restrict out the irrelevant stuff even with excluded words.

I want them gone...

LOL. I was thinking the same thing every effen time. Clouds my view. Who are these people anyway?

I even had to pay attention and find out when their concert is so i know when i can stop getting their clog. Worried that there may be later consequences - like Arcade Fire t shirts or something.

they were just here in Boston on Sun.
we had the same issue....looking for and buying tix posts. They are finally gone!!

I had to work the show actually.....it was lame. they were sold out though and it always amazes me when a band i never heard of does. I was hoping they'd have some cool shirts at least but they were lame as well.

I feel your pain. They played an Ottawa show recently, and my RSS has been full of Arcade Fire ticket spam. And just when it was starting to taper off, now they have another show in Toronto coming up in a few weeks! Craigslist at least allows you to exclude certain search terms (-xbox -wii -fire etc.) but the other, more popular local "for sale" sites here don't, so I have to wade through it.

I live not too far from an area named arden arcade. So basically I always have plenty of listings of everything that is being sold in that area. TV's, couches, trees, exercise equipment ect.

Yeah... they suck, and I'm sick of seeing their crap. I've come across them on XM a few times and tried giving them a chance, but they really do suck.

I'm glad I'm not the only one irritated by this band clogging up searches. It's bad enough with Xbox Live Arcade or flash arcade games always getting in the way.

And yes, I also agree that they suck. Some of my fellow employees played their music often at my former workplace and I just became more irritated with them over time.

+1 on them sucking, and +1 on them clogging up my arcade search.

as for omitting the word "fire" you could miss out on the non-working Galaga that everything works except the fire button. that i picked up for $25 the other night.

I'm a fan, but yeah...they cause havoc on Craiglist when searching for arcade crap.

Here's my search string:

arcade -xbox -xbox360 -wii -ds -playstation -ps3 -ps2 -psp -"arcade fire"

One of the outlying CL's in my area apparently has a street named "Arcade Ave"

I get every garage sale that is ever held on that street in my results.
