I would really enjoy having a few movie posters in my game room starting with Back to the Future (1). Anyone have a favorite online vendor that is inexpensive?

I would check eBay. There's a bunch of vendors there will great poster re-prints for good prices and if you buy an bunch you'll save on shipping. I've bought a Blade Runner, Raiders of the Lost Ark, TRON, and T2 posters there. I also have a The Beastmaster original that I currently have no room for.

I get all mine from allposters.com. Every few weeks they seem to have crazy good sales. I usually only pay 3-5 bucks a poster and spend enough to qualify for free shipping.

moviegoods.com has a SHIT ton of posters, i found them last night.. however I just tried going on the site and im getting an error?

there are tons of repros and fakes, so if your after a rare poster (star wars, raiders, ect) know what your getting...

If your going to frame stuff up, this lady knows a ton about it. I am going to meet up with her soon to frame my original tron and alien posters. She is going to look at them (trifolds) and were going to decide if mounting or linen backing is the way to go.

I would recommend movieposters.com. I bought my tron legacy triple print from them and I think they look great.

I have a ton of posters that I have collected since I was a kid. Mostly originals, ranging from the 40's to early 2000's. Some I got off ebay (years ago), and others I bought from private collectors and large distributors.

Usually you can get good ones from ebay. Just make sure you check to see if they are reproductions or not. Do some research and you can tell the difference. A Back to the Future poster is NOT going to be rolled... rather if it is an original it should be folded. Most if not all theater posters of the 80's were folded.

Also, check this out.... I found this over Christmas break back at my parents house. Totally forgot I ever had it and probably have not seen it in over 25 years. Pretty cool, original (not a repro). It has all the character's names. I think I might frame it and have it in my arcade.

I was a Transformers kid growing up, but I have to say, that is a kick ass poster! Get that framed, gets my vote.

Thanks for the tip versus originality...I'll be getting a reproduction though and I'll appreciate it just the same as an original. $10 instead of $400 or so, it's not a hard decision for me to make.

that masters of the universe poster is very cool! If you don't care about resale value, you should consider dry mount on acid free material. It will be the best to remove the fold.

If your worried about its long term value, then linen backed is the accepted process.
