I get the feeling that the owner probably won't let that Pong go cheaply...

What would make you think that?
The owner has left it outside exposed to the elements for what looks to be a very long time. I doubt they value it at all.

We are on hold for more monitors. Someone was suppost to pick up all of them. I dont think thats going to happen, I will check back next week. Dokert wanted some. If we are able to get more, maybe you guys can come over together. I will let you know when I find out more. What I do I know is I dont need anymore. explaining all these non working monitors to my wife was not easy!!
We are working on getting the Pong, a few people in line so far. It would be a major project, more than what im willing to take on.
I went back today. Last time I was there, I saw a broken Ampliphone tube that still was connected to the cabinet wood, it had a Star Wars Bezel, glass, yoke, rings and monitor harness the guy said I could come back and get it. I figured since it was Ampliphone stuff I better grab it!!
On the way out I found another good 6100 tube with star wars burn, no chassis. I forgot to grab it, I will get it next time.
Here are pics of what I salvaged today.
Th Bezel has all stickers intact and nice, no cracks or breaks in the plastic. Amazing!!

that would mean spending hours confined in a car with that guy and i'm not sure i can do that. i especially suspect his taste in music. i fear we'd be listening to Garth Brooks all the way there and one of us wouldn't be making the trip back.

It's very creepy... The pictures, the sky's lighting, the train tracks, what happened... It really does look like a concentration camp... Not to downplay the actual event, but just the mood feels similar. Wow. Great concept with the thread title.
