Arcade Birthday Party for 8 year old was a success!

BIG thanks to Encom (Rich) and Daughterdad (Chris) for helping the idea become a sucess.

We had 15 kids ages 9 and under have an Awesome time playing games. the three most popular were the Pop-a-Ball, SharpShooter pin and Roadblasters. We gave tickets to the kids for each game they played and Pop-a-ball dispensed the other tix. (I got the Pop-a-Ball machine free from Daughterdad a month or so ago).

then at the end, we had the kids turn their tickets in for the prizes (which Encom helped out with). although the prizes were displayed like they could choose - to keep things fair, each kid got the same amount of goodies.

He loves this simple Poster board sign

Pacman/power pellet/ghostie sugar cookies (hastily iced and only one color)

pac-man chocolate chip cookie cake

The Prize redemption counter

Had the games going for my son's 8th bday party a month ago and it was quite a success as well. The kids all loved it!

Cool pics, I'm in the planning stages of having a pinball tournament for my 10 year old son and his buddies. I got some invitations made up and an excel spreadsheet to keep scores :) Should be really fun!

Its great to see the little ones get excited over them. One notable exception-When I plugged in star wars my 7 year old niece freaked out at obi wan's deep voice when he said "may the force be with you". She demanded I turn it off immediately and is now scared to go near it.

Very cool. Awesome pictures. What the heck has Rich (Encom) been up to? I haven't seen him post in a while. He was suppose to include me in his little get together he has every once in a while at his house for a game night.. but I haven't heard from him in a while.
