I think adding even five seconds to the fourth board and beyond would make it slightly less punishing. Did you explain the order of the boards (I may have just missed this)? Sometimes they will go in what I consider the 'normal' order, but occasionally I'll get a fifth board mixed in as the third or fourth one. How many are there and do they loop? People could potentially marathon this thing if the fourth and fifth boards weren't so hard (or maybe it's the fifth and sixth I'm thinking of?)
I like it because it really has a classic arcade feel IMO, you can create your own patterns, but it's not exactly the same every time (mostly because of the random shooting). I wish the high score table font was more in line with the rest of the presentation though. Also, I had it windowed at work yesterday (go ahead and judge me, I know you guys are browsing from work too!
), and the high score table didn't line up with the window. I also wish there was a key to reset the machine without exiting out of the program. It sucks to screw up early on and have to wait until time runs out because you know there's no way you can finish the board.
Maybe we can get a version 1.1?
