Arcade Automation with Home Assistant - Share your YAML here!

I'm using a pair of these for the Arcades. They provide per-plug power telemetry, which is nice to have.
These will also work with Google Home / Alexa if you don't want to go down the HA route.

For HA, I'm running it on an old small form-factor office HP - it's got an i5 and 16g ram. Most of what I'm doing is Zigbee so things work when the internet is out. Lights, switches, door, window, water sensors is all zigbee, mostly Aqara. Also using ESP32s for presence detection so the machines know which room I'm in, stuff like that. Roughly 1500 entities in my current setup.

AMAZING!! What GUI is this for the 3d perspective with active overlays???
Interactive floor 3D plan: https://community.home-assistant.io/t/your-home-digital-twin-interactive-floor-3d-plan/301549

Whelp, I just added a new project to my (long) list! I'm curious to see if that 3D floor plan visualizer can import SketchUp , which has all the wonderful cabinet models from Gozer.

Yes, those models can be imported into Sweet Home 3D (https://www.sweethome3d.com/). Once you build your model there, you can export it into the custom integration in Home Assistant. If I'm recalling correctly, I used a generic model of a Sega cabinet from one of the 3D catalogs that work with Sweet Home 3D, but there was also a detailed Zaxxon model.

Is there a smart plug that allows for notification when the power is cut?
How would it notify when it has no power to notify with? Or do you mean if the load is cut?

There are ways to do this with plugs that have energy monitoring in home assistant. If the plug state is ON and the load drops below X A, trigger an automation.

Yeah this is the issue....I've seen some USB powered solutions but just curious what the crowd here has to say about it.

I don't have that sort of thing written, but an automation that monitors state change.
The automation triggers on 'unavailable' (no power) and then can send a push notification or something to that extent.

I found this code that is on the idea of how I would do it.. There is likely a better way.. but I don't know it ;)

alias: 'Notify if light unavailable'
initial_state: 'off'
trigger:
- platform: state
entity_id: light.bedroom_lamp, light.couch_light, light.dining_table_light, light.living_room_light, light.walkin_robe_light
to: 'unavailable'
for:
seconds: 22
action:
- service: notify.pushbullet
data_template:
message: >
'{{ trigger.from_state.attributes.friendly_name }} has gone unavailable'

I Run HA at home and have a pretty extensive set up and dashboard. I haven't done much scripting with it, I use it as a base layer to provide Alexa access to all my iot devices. I also use the Frigate integration to manage about 6-7 cameras around the property.

My build is a bare metal install on an intel based mini pc.
