i will be there. i won a star trek last time but somehow there was a mix up. hopefully no mor egoof up deals this time around.

Seven Tractor trailers in already

Pinballs like crazy the guy form Arnolds was a video game hoarder. Their unloading games he had no clue what he had.

The auction was over by 12:30pm...Jamie did a great job promoting this as usual! He even had a Multicade giveaway on local radio station to advertise it!!

Really no classics today....we got the only yellow Pacman not working for $300, a crapcom bowling went for $25. NO Ms Pacmans! Except we brought a working 9 in 1 Multicade someone traded in to us--and was WORKING with MS PACMAN on the header, but the bidding only got up to $250 when we bought it back!

Lots of redemption....and it seemed like alot of buyers for them.

We got a great deal on a Bally Black Jack pin at $100...I understand we missed a Gorgar at $100 with an ugly playfield, but maybe my guy didn;t hear it right. Other later model pins sold at usual prices--Robocop with new LED display $800, Lethal Weapons $575 to $850 (3 were there), we bought the ONLY shuffle Bowling Alley at the show and it was cheap---at $500.

Can't wait for the next one...a GREAT venue at Arnolds Go Karts Center!! Thanks Jamie!

Yeah, what happened to the games listed above like Satan's Hollow, Crossbow, Sinistar, etc?

And anybody know what the Asteroids Deluxe and Q*bert went for?

Man... some of the guys here really need to understand and master the concepts of showers and deodorant. ;). Between the auction and TooManyGames my nose got a workout today...

I think the Q*bert went for $450 ? It was in really nice condition. Prices in general were
pretty good. My friend got a nice Madden Football for $275. It wasn't working but I've
got a lot of experience with Global VR games. We got it home to find the video card had
fallen out. Plugged it in and the game booted right up.

I missed the Asteroids Deluxe. I saw a couple guys trying to get it to run but didn't
have any luck.

I think the pins went for pretty good prices. There was a POTC in nice shape
that went for $3750 and the World Cup Soccer with LED kit went for $1500. I
think those were the highest priced pins.

There was a Dynamo Stinger Air Hockey that went for $200. Two Chexx Hockeys,
one went for $550'ish (really rough shape) and the other my friend accidentally
bid on and got for $800 (luckily in better shape).

Yes, I agree on the crowd. Some of them were really stinky. The guy with the cigar
is a dope. He was told by the auctioneer it was illegal and kept puffing away anyway.
Next time I go to one of these things I'm bringing the number of the local fire marshal.

I snapped a few pix.

So was that really 7 tractor trailer loads? Sure didn't seem like it. Little tractor trailer or were things really spread out in them? :)

Not a very good auction. And where we're the games listed above? Eh?

Yeah, I didn't see the Sinistar and others but I didn't get there
until 10:30. I would say once you threw in all the kiddie rides and
the inflatables that you probably could make 7 trailers.

I think the days of "good" auctions are in the days of long ago. There are
fewer and fewer operators and arcades meaning less and less games to
go.

Anyone know how much the Pirates Of The Caribbean ended up selling for? I was at the Too Many Games show, but auction was over by the time we got out of there.

Thanks!

non stinky guy!

That was a lot smaller than I expected (and most people I talked to seemed to share that same thought)... I didn't even bother getting a bidder's card.

I mostly made the trip for Too Many Games, but decided to check out the auction. There really wasn't anything worth staying for IMO. It seemed like the few decent games had pretty good prices though. I was thinking about staying to grab the Capcom Bowling, just for the Taito cab that looked to be in okay shape, but decided I really didn't need it.

Was almost a waste of time for me (3 hour drive for supposedly a 300 piece auction?) after it was such a small auction, but I can't complain, I came home with 3 pieces and they still owed me a deposit back :p

So what happened to this auction then? Big huge auction that only lasted 2 hours with advertised titles that no one here actually saw? I'm by no means calling anyone out but something seems weird about this thread.

I stopped in Arnold's after the auction since I was in the area (3 hour drive for me) only to see some of the equipment that was advertised to be in the auction. Total disappointment for me. I almost wanted to ask Crazy Lou for some of my gas money.
