I need some AR2 Boards... Im thinking about 5. What would be a good price for them?

Working? --- $
Non Working / Non Tested? --- $

Also how hard is it to rebuild them? Any one have a parts list?

Are these boards the same in a Centipede and Pole Position?

Thank for your time...

$20-$30 working, if there rebuilt more!!

Would you say 60.00 shipped is appropriate for a working, rebuilt atari Ar-II?

Jesus Dan I was hoping to hear a better price point than that.

I see Bob has kits for two different ones...

http://www.therealbobroberts.net/parts.html#atari

Atari A/R or A/R II-01 Repair Kit (Caps+Q2/3+R29) $9.00
Atari A/R II-02 to -06 Repair Kit (Caps+Q2/3/8/9+R30) $12.00

Whats the difference in these boards? Will either work in a centi or pp?

Maybe I can just buy some non tested and rebuild these myself.

Im sure people like djdns or davez have piles of these...

Edit: I see you beat me to the punch... lol
My how your arcade has grown...

Centipede and Pole Position are different. Here is a guide. I might know someone that has 2 working pole postions. I have some non working centipede ones.

Nice link that cleared up a lot of questions... Thanks man. So they are different.

Anyway I got a pole position over the weekend and Im trying to get it fired up. Its missing one AR2 so I need to start with the power first. I found this tut on some mods.

http://www.stickycarpet.com/pinx/ar2mods.html

I also found this killer thread for a switcher.

http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=25403&highlight=pole+postion

Which in turn produced this gem as well.

So now it seems the best way to get decent power to an old pp is put a switcher in it.

Ok I think im up to speed on this now... Any other good threads for power mods? I really want this to be rock solid so did I miss anything guys?
